Is this for real?

Stumbled accross the following website Kid in a Box.

It someone who actually sells cardboard boxes as a new and innovative toy for kids. Of course we've all seen our kids play mindlessly for hours with a box... there's even a great Spongebob Squarepants episode all about the box and imagination...

I'm all for encouraging the creative and imaginative play. Someone bought us a new TV or something when my tater-tot was 2 and we turned the box into a play-house. We cut a front and back door in it and he loved it! It sat in our living room behind the sofa for a long time (until we needed to put a peice of furniture back there).

We actually have a box in the garage that his birthday present came in and we are saving it... for just such a time as we have a place to put it so he can have a new playhouse.

But are people really paying $29.95 for a 20-inch square box for their kids!?!?!? And shipping is extra... you have to pay them to ship you an empty box! To be fair they do include a box of crayons too... but come on!

Please tell that I'm not the only one that thinks this is crazy!

This seems a bit silly, to be sure.

I'm afraid I can't justify spendin g money (plus shipping to buy a box, when I can buy something that comes in a box, instead...

I can't even believe they are charging $29.95 for this? Who would buy this?
